Covid Protocols

Your child’s safety is our priority.

Direct Approach Educational Services Inc. is committed to providing services which corresponds to the protocols set out by the Public Health agency of Canada concerning COVID-19, commonly referred to as Coronavirus.

Our team has been monitoring the situation daily and following the guidance from the Public Health Agency of Canada.

The following practices will be in place to minimize the spread of all respiratory illnesses, including COVID-19:

  • The use of plexiglass screens/sneeze guards between every tutor and student during sessions.
  • Washing hands often with soap and water for at least 30 seconds and use of alcohol-based sanitizer.
  • Tutors will wash their hands before and after meeting a client.
  • Self assessment screenings done by each employee prior to entering our facility before every shift.
  • All Staff will have their temperature taken at the beginning of every shift.
  • It is recommended a face mask or face shield is worn when entering the premises.
  • Deep cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched objects, surfaces, and all teaching materials after each session.

YOU can help, please refrain from entering our centre if you have any of the following symptoms:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • New or worsening cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Feeling feverish
  • Chills
  • Fatigue or weakness
  • Muscle or body aches
  • New loss of smell or taste
  • Gastrointestinal symptoms (abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting)
  • Travelled within or outside of Canada within the last 14 days.

If you or your child has been in contact with an individual with COVID-19, please stay home and notify the office.

If you or a family member begin showing symptoms of a respiratory disease and suspect it may be COVID-19, please contact your health care provider or call the COVID-19 helpline.
